
Kaathadi
What it is:
A year-long, hands-on learning adventure for socio-economically disadvantaged children in the remote Kalvarayan Hills. We blend arts, science, nature and self to spark curiosity and creativity.
Our Impact:
From August 2024 to February 2025, Project Kathadi reached 410 tribal students across five schools, transforming classrooms into vibrant learning hubs.
- Engaging Sessions: 24 school-based sessions and 12 weekend residential camps at our Experience Lab (X-La) site.
- Creative Exploration: Activities like origami arts and the Peace Crane Campaign foster imagination and global citizenship.
- XLa Lab: Immersive programme focusing on providing hands on experience in science, nature, self and arts, often conducted at Aalam Pannai, a sustainable habitat and learning garden.
- Celebrating Innovation: Our inter-school science competition (January 30, 2025) saw 130 students from nine schools showcasing their brilliance.
